How to Clean Hockey Wheel Bearings

Cleaning your roller hockey bearings not only keeps you fast on the rink but it extends the life of your bearings too! Watch this quick video for a few tips from our experts here at IW Hockey.

DIRECTIONS
Step 1	Using a multi-tool, take your roller hockey wheels off the skates.
Step 2	Using the same multi-tool, push/pull the bearings out of the wheel.
Step 3	Remove the shield casing from the bearings. Next, using a bearing cleaner kit, thoroughly wash your bearings and let the sediments settle for 15 minutes.
Step 4	Take the bearings out and pat them dry with a paper towel or cloth.
Step 5	Apply two drops of bearing oil to each bearing and give them a good spin.
Step 6	Re-assemble the bearings and place them back into each wheel. Attach each wheel to the skate and you're done.
